I ran across this you tube vid as I was browsing around like I normally do. Its over an hour long but definitely worth your time. Whats interesting to me is to hear hip hop records being broke down and analyzed. This says something about the creativity that goes behind making timeless music. This vid should especially be viewed by all you youngsters out there getting into the music scene as a listener, producer, artist or beat maker.

DJ Replay from FreeSchool (the production team that have been working closely with Kelis on her new album) released a mixtape during Winter Music Conference that included dance remixes of Kelis' hits which include Milkshake, Caught Out There, Lil Star and Bossy -- in addition to Kelis' #1 hit Acapella and snippets of 4 new songs off of Flesh Tone which include: 4TH OF JULY, HOME, SCREAM AND 22ND CENTURY.

Kelis will be performing Acapella on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, April 6th.

DJ Ace's Bio

Ace began his musical journey in 1992 when he started as a professional mobile dj. He has and still provides musical entertainment for nightclub and formal events. Formal events include but are not limited to weddings, quinceneras and corporate events. Ace regularly Dj's at several local Bay Area nightclubs such as Motif Lounge, Agenda and Temple Bar & Lounge to name a few.

In addition to being a professional Dj, Ace is also Specialist Music Group's recording engineer and producer. He has been involved with music production since 2002 and has worked with several bay area talents. Ace started production with Specialist Music Group in 2008. Since then the group has released several projects including Don Prahfits The iKsperiment Vol 1, Edo's Japanese Graffiti Vol 2. Pete Game's Shockwave Vol 1 with Aftershock dropping summer 2009. Dj QuixSlvr QuixFix Vol 1 and 2. Dj Kyzer Sosay iTs a Blockbuster Vol 1. Ace has also released his own mix series titled 1800 Shots Vol 1, 2 and 3. There is tons more to come!
